About Us
Musical Offering brings together Boston-area musicians who share a love of performing late-eighteenth century chamber music: from the last throes of the High Baroque through the wildly emotional galant period leading up to Mozart. We began performing together in early 2010 when several of our members moved back to Boston after stints studying and performing abroad. We debuted at the 2011 Boston Early Music Festival as Quantz & Co. with a program entitled “Becoming Galant: From Telemann to Quantz.” Musical Offering’s second season 2012–13 focuses on the vibrant repertoire of the French Baroque.
